Hi. We have recently moved our Vendor project from the development are to the Production area. The project was therefore exported from Development and imported into the Production project. Views are created across tables and rules are bound to these views. I run any tasks to calculate the scores and the tasks complete successfully. I then go to the Rule Results tab in the work space and open any view to look at columns with failed records. I then clink on the column with failed data and it shows the failed records on the right hand side of the screen. I then click on view more failed data and get the following error "Failed data processing did not complete". I can find no link on this error. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Information Steward error: No job server in server group
Hi,
I am using Information Steward 4.1 for conducting data profiling activities. The application was running fine last week. Today, all of a sudden, the IS profiling tasks fail with an error : No jobserver in the server group: ISJobServerGroup available to run the job. -- [please see below for the full log file from IS]
The database is Oracle. No change anywhere to my knowledge.
I have tried the following -
1. Delete the existing IS job server using server manager and re-configure
2. Re-sync the repository with the IS job server.
3. Stop/ Start services in central configuration manager.
The jobs in Data services run alright. No issues there. Just that the Information steward no longer works.. Any thoughts ?

Im not sure if the rfc connection to the SAP ERP is functional because this error appears:

Viewing data from tables is working but viewing data from views gives errors above.

Unexpected Problem Occurred While Decoding JSF Component {0} BO 4.1 SP2
We are encountering the error pictured when trying to open the Information Steward Data Governance project or Match Review Configuration from the CMC.
This started happening after we restarted our InfoSteward servers. Does anybody know what could be causing the error and what we can do to fix it?
Our Information Steward Version is 14.2.1.220 and our Business Objects version is 4.1 SP2.

IS 4.1 installation error

Information Steward Backend Tables
Hi Everybody,
In the IS back-end tables, where will I find the rule bindings info.
I've found the rule list in dbo.MMB_Rule, but now I need the rule bindings for each rule.
Please, if anyone knows, I need help with this.

Integrator Not deployed issue
We are running SAP BI 4.1 with SP03, also have BODS and Information Steward with the same Service pack level, installation itself went without any incident - all services are up and running: 2 al_engines (BODS and IS) and all servers related to SAO BI. When I try to add new Integrator then i receive IntegratorNotDeployed error (see attachment).
I've tried to reinstall SAP IS, but anyway I'm still having the same error. In SAP Bi I see all services that are needed: SAP EIM. keycodes are correctly added, because I see all integrators in the list.
So, what is wrong with IS this time, did not manage to find anything in User guides or in OSS notes with familiar symptoms? And yes, we are on SUSE.

Email notifications in IS
Hi all,
Has anyone successfully configured IS to send notifications on term/ rule approval?
In IS 4.2 SP2, I set up the users with email accounts, configured the job server, and enabled emails in Manage > Preferences and still cannot get it working.
The only information I have seen relates to DS and fixing a port, but this may not be the correct configuration point that will enable email to work.
The IS Job Server mentions "Neither Message Broker, Adapter Manager, nor SNMP MB Server started."

Author of the rules was changed after the project was imported
Hi All,
Author of the rules was changed after the project imported to my User ID. I am not sure if my user (SAP Security) should be attached to the rules in Production.
Here are the steps followed during import:
When the project was imported, I was prompted with 2 options -
Overwrite Existing Objects
Automatically approve imported rules
I checked both the options, since to maintain change control we are enforcing the approval of the rules in development.
Upon checking automatically approve imported rules, I was prompted to choose the approver and selected the approver user group.

Unable to add Sybase Power Designer Integrator Source for Metadata Management
Hi ,
I am trying to add Sybase Power designer to Integrator source in the CMC for metadata management in Information Steward. I have given the user name as repository user name 'ADMIN' & Password. When I am testing it is giving the error like
connection error:com.bobj.mm.sdk.SDKException: IDS_PD_CONNECT_FAILED(ADM-10008).
I have tried with repository database user also it is not connecting .
Please help me how to resolve this issue.

How to Promote IS Projects, Rules, Connections, and Views to a New Server
Hi All,
We want to move Information Steward Projects, Connections, Rules, Views.. etc from Server A to B.
Using Promotion Management in Server A promoted projects, Views, and Connections as a lcmbiar file and imported to Server B. I expected to see everything in Server B Information Steward but nothing is there. Did I miss something or is my approach wrong ? Please help me.

Is there an easy way to change a table name in Data Insight views?
Hello experts,
I have created multiple views in Information Steward Data Insight with rules and scorecards based on one database table in the source database. Now I have been told the table I used is going to be deleted and there is another table with same fields and data I need to use now. I want to know if there is an easy way in Information Steward to just replace the table name in all the views using this table that is going to be deleted. I would appreciate your help and guidance.

question on Installing Information Steward
I installed Data Services and IPS on one server. I am planning to install IS on separate server. IS Installtion did not allow to move to next steps, since the prerequistes did not meet. IPS is not found on the IS server.
I thought install IS on a separate server and share webcomponents with IPS/DS server.
Questions: Is this scenario possible or not?
Do i need to install IS on where DS and IPS installed?
I cannot install IS on DS server due to licensing model we have.
Any ideas?
